Hi!
My name is Bill Wagner and I'm just your average guy. I live with my wife and our dog in rural NC. I've been volunteering with The MIMA Foundation for many years, providing the surgical teams with anesthesia support (I'm a Nurse Anesthetist, among other things). I was trying to think of a way that I could help MIMA in between trips and this is what I've come up with. My last BIG adventure was in 2000 when I thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail.
That experience was incredible in many ways but I often wish I could've helped someone else as I was walking, day after day, month after month, mile upon mile. If you can, please look into your wallet and your heart and help some of the poorest people on earth. So little goes so very far for them.
Blessings to you all,
Bill
