Hi! My name is Bill Wagner and I'm just your average guy. I live with my wife and our dog in rural NC. I've been volunteering with The MIMA Foundation for many years, providing the surgical teams with anesthesia support (I'm a Nurse Anesthetist, among other things). I was trying to think of a way that I could help MIMA in between trips and this is what I've come up with. My last BIG adventure was in 2000 when I thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. That experience was incredible in many ways but I often wish I could've helped someone else as I was walking, day after day, month after month, mile upon mile.
