This list shows some of the ways MIMA uses monetary donations:

$0.50: one pair of Arbarcas (a leather sandal worn year-round by the children living in Posota & Challa, Bolivia)

$1.35: one liter of IV fluid for the Surgery Program

$5.00: provides school supplies for one child ( 2 notebooks, pencils, sharpener, pens marker and paper)

$7.45: buys toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss for 30 children for one school year

$10.00: provides daily vitamins for one child for one school year in the Buena Vista Program

$12.00: buys enough specialty yarn for one woman in the Knitting Co-Op to produce one scarf

$15.00: buys one child breakfast for one year in the Breakfast Program (5 days/week, 10 months/year)

$15.10: buys a 35kg bag of rice, 3 liter bottle of vegetable oil, pasta and fresh fruit for a family in the Altiplano (Posota, Challa) Bolivia

$17.00: buys 3 large water tanks that will harvest rain water for the Uganda Program

$59.00: cost of bricks & mortar to build one wall for the school dormitory in Challa

$1350.00: Cost to send one medical volunteer to Guatemala.
